Writing Projects, Incoming
November 10th, 2009
So the other day, I was rummaging around old sites that I used to post on a lot, and I discovered some old snippets from writing projects I once cared about. One of these was a project called “The Scrolls of Agona”. It was a slightly humorous, really off the cuff idea I had when I was a Sophomore in high school that ended up filling three notebooks. I had a small handful of friends that actually liked it enough that they’d often times catch me in the hall or something and ask if I had “Any new Rau”.
Well, after digging it up and reading it from such a distant third person perspective, considering I hardly remembered writing any of it, I realized that of all my writing, this was the first time I read something of my own from years ago and thought “There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m proud of that, and I’m gonna finish it.”
Alongside that project was a pseudo arrogant detective novel named “86″ that was also pretty entertaining. I think I could eventually flesh it out too, but for now, I have my sights set.
If you want to read this old snippet, you can find it here.
I doubt that’s the version I will continue from, but it is the flavor.
