Writing Projects, Incoming

November 10th, 2009

cs So the other day, I was rummaging around old sites that I used to post on a lot, and I discovered some old snippets from writing projects I once cared about.  One of these was a project called “The Scrolls of Agona”. It was a slightly humorous, really off the cuff idea I had when I was a Sophomore in high school that ended up filling three notebooks. I had a small handful of friends that actually liked it enough that they’d often times catch me in the hall or something and ask if I had “Any new Rau”.

Well, after digging it up and reading it from such a distant third person perspective, considering I hardly remembered writing any of it, I realized that of all my writing, this was the first time I read something of my own from years ago and thought “There’s nothing wrong with that. I’m proud of that, and I’m gonna finish it.”

Alongside that project was a pseudo arrogant detective novel named “86″ that was also pretty entertaining. I think I could eventually flesh it out too, but for now, I have my sights set.

If you want to read this old snippet, you can find it here.

I doubt that’s the version I will continue from, but it is the flavor.

Up and Running

csI decided to get my website up and rolling again. While I’ll probably keep the blog format on the main page, I do plan to tweak the layout a bit. As you may or may not know, I’ve registered Cyan Studios as a legitimate freelance business. So this blog may take a back seat, someday, to a more professional and up front site. On the other hand, I’m not really a very professional person now am I?

Then again, blogs are pretty pretentious things. Do I really think you care? Not really. But you know what? This blog looks fancy.
