Vast, Drake’s Fortune, and Supernatural
To kick off this new segment about recommended stuffs, I’d like to recommend something from each of my favorite genres.
For music, it’s Vast. These guys are awesome. I’ll be sure to make them the first album I go and buy from the store in awhile. This is also because iTunes has dealt me the last straw in CPU hoggin’ that I can stand. And album booklets are fun to peruse at first.
For the video game world, it’ll have to be Drake’s Fortune. I’ve been testing out the demo on my PS3 (I needed a Blu-Ray player, shut it) and I can’t seem to stop playing the freakin’ demo. I love those characters that pretend to know what they’re doing when they really don’t.
Story of my life.
And in the TV world, Supernatural owns all. The CW is usually pretty corny in its character creation and casting, but this show kinda thrusts that all aside and says “We can do a show without anorexic girls and soap opera-action hybrids.”
